When an unexpected personal disaster affects a family, LifeLine Crisis Relief grants can provide financial assistance to help families provide for their pets' immediate needs. Personal disasters may include:
- Large-scale disaster, such as a flood, wildfire or hurricane
- House fire

LifeLine Crisis Relief grants may be provided for the following needs:

- Call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at (800) 799-SAFE or visit www.ndvh.org to find a shelter.

- Accept a check from UAN.
LifeLine Crisis Relief cannot help if any of the following apply:

The veterinary care has been completed more than two weeks ago.
