Through our Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS), we have thousands of compassionate volunteers throughout North America who are ready to respond when a natural or man-made disaster puts animals at risk.
HEAR Volunteers
Through our Humane Education Ambassador Reader (HEAR) program, specially trained volunteers helps children explore the human-animal bond through stories and discussion. HEAR volunteers visit elementary school classrooms, after-school programs, bookstores, animal shelters and other venues to read to children and lead discussions -- helping children develop critical thinking skills and empathy.
